I love creating copycat recipes! It's so much fun to recreate popular drinks and types of food in a way that fits within my nutritional needs. Plus, when I am the one making the food, I can also make it taste exactly how I want it to!

This keto pink drink recipe is one of my top favorite creations.

It seems like Starbucks is always coming up with a new drink that people go crazy over, aren't they? It's not just marketing either - these drinks taste as good as they look.

When I first saw the pink drink at Starbucks, I knew I had to find a way to make the same thing at home - but with low-carb ingredients.

After a little bit of trial and error, I am thrilled to tell you that I created a near-perfect copycat! This is a refreshing drink with the perfect amount of strawberry flavor without having to use dried strawberries.

    Why you'll love it

This keto pink drink has all the same fruity flavors as the Starbucks pink drink. There are a few differences - for example, I didn't use coconut milk for mine. However, it has the same consistency and flavors that mirror the coffee shop version.

You are going to love this delicious pink drink because it is refreshing, low in carbs, and won't negatively affect your blood sugar. It gives you the sweet tastes without the crazy energy spikes and dips that sugar does.

It is slightly sweet and is a delicious drink to enjoy when you are craving a keto version of the popular Starbucks beverage.

Plus, when you make this drink at home, you'll save money too! These ingredients are affordable and easy to find. Make as much as you want!

    Ingredients

This keto pink drink has ingredients that are easy to find in your grocery store.

    Tea

The most important ingredient in this keto-friendly version of the Starbucks pink drink is the tea.

I used three bags of passionfruit tea! The passion tea bags are what give the drink the strawberry acai flavors.

To get the most flavor, steep the tea in boiling water. Don't worry - you'll add ice so the drink will taste like you made it with cold water.

    Cream

Next, you'll need some sort of cream. I used heavy whipping cream. It has a really rich flavor and makes this drink taste like a velvety dessert.

The cream mixed with the passionfruit tea is what gives this drink the iconic pink color.

    Strawberries

Slice up some fresh strawberries. You'll use them in the drink and as delicious little garnishes. You can use freeze-dried strawberries, too, if you want.

    Vanilla

You'll also need real vanilla extract! This boosts the drink with an amazing flavor.

    Sweetener

Use your favorite type of keto-friendly sweetener. I think that liquid stevia is the perfect thing to use.

Just use enough to make it as sweet as you want it to be.

ingredients for the keto pink drink recipe.

    Tips

    • Garnish with fresh fruit. Slice a few strawberries and add them to the top of the cup.
    • Steep tea bags for longer. The longer you allow the tea bags to steep, the stronger their flavor will be.
    • Make a dairy-free version. Use either coconut milk or almond milk to make a dairy-free pink drink.
    • Use sugar-free vanilla syrup. Replace vanilla extract and sugar-free sweetener with a few pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup.

    Instructions

It's really easy to make the pink drink that tastes like you got it from your local Starbucks. So here's how to make your own copycat Starbucks keto pink drink.

    Make the tea

The very first step is to boil the water and steep the tea bags. The passionfruit tea is really what makes this a pink drink. After you make the tea, let it cool down.

If you have iced passion tea already made, you can use this instead.

    brewing the passionfruit tea.

    Mix with cream

Next, mix the cooled tea with the heavy whipping cream. I love this part because the red tea swirls with the cream and turns a beautiful pink shade.

    adding cream to the tea.

    Add sweetener and vanilla

Then, stir in the sweetener and vanilla. Add the sweetener a little bit at a time and taste it so that you can make it as sweet as you want.

adding sweetener and vanilla to the tea.

Serve the Starbucks keto pink drink

This delicious pink drink recipe makes enough to fill up 4 cups. Pour the drinks into the cups and garnish them with fresh strawberries.

pouring the pink drink over ice filled glass.

    ️ Serving suggestions

This keto Starbucks pink drink tastes amazing by itself. I like to drink it when I feel like a snack, but I'm actually just really thirsty.

If you want to munch on some sugar-free snacks with it, I suggest something savory since this drink is so sweet. Maybe make some keto parmesan crisps or keto popcorn. The saltiness of those snacks is perfect with this keto pink drink!

If you are still craving something sweet, then a slice of cream cheese fruit pizza will taste fantastic with this drink. It has lots of the same strawberry flavors.

Or, for something just as refreshing, grab a scoop of no-churn keto strawberry ice cream. It will taste perfect with this keto pink drink recipe!

    Variations

There aren't a whole lot of different ways to make this drink if you want it to taste just like the Starbucks keto pink drink.

To make it dairy-free, I suggest using coconut cream. It will have the rich flavor that you are going for.

For a version that isn't as fruity, just brew some green tea. You can use another fruit-flavored tea as the base or brew your favorite herbal tea. It will still taste a lot like the keto pink drink, but it might not be pink, depending on the tea.

Don't forget to add some ice cubes. You can try to enjoy this as a hot drink, but I have not tried it this way.

You can also make this homemade pink drink caffeine-free by brewing decaf tea.

If you make any changes to this keto pink drink that you enjoy, please let me know in the comments.

I've never had that issue as the tea is cooled before adding the cream.
