This recipe is for anyone that loves a cold glass of iced coffee. It just hits differently than hot coffee. The very first sip of that cold liquid wakes you up and fills you with even more energy.

If you thought that all iced coffee drinks were high in sugar, then I am thrilled to share this recipe with you!

    Why you'll love it

This keto iced coffee recipe is strong, creamy, and as sweet as you want it to be. It's really easy to customize and change up. I am sharing a basic recipe that you can adjust however you want.

If you love iced coffee, you are really going to enjoy this recipe! It's so simple to make it in the morning and take it with you on your day. Sip on it at work, and you'll stay awake even in the most boring meeting.

Even better is the fact that it is sugar-free!

Each cup only has 1 gram of net carbs. So enjoy a few cups throughout the day without worrying about the macros.

    Ingredients

Iced keto coffee uses just three very simple ingredients. In fact, I bet you can guess what I used in my coffee. Here's a bit more information for you.

    ingredients for iced coffee

    Cold coffee

Since you are going to ice it, you can either use hot coffee or cold coffee. I suggest brewing strong coffee for iced coffee. This way, it won't weaken when you add the ice cubes.

    Heavy cream

To make it really rich and creamy, add some heavy whipping cream. It will help the strong coffee be a little easier to drink. Plus, heavy cream is a great source of healthy fats too.

    Sugar-free syrup

This is optional, but I enjoy sweet coffee drinks, so I added it. For my coffee, I used sugar-free vanilla syrup but use your favorite flavor.

I sometimes add in sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup!

    Tips

    • Top with whipped cream. This is a fun way to make your iced coffee a little extra delicious. I have a delicious keto whipped cream recipe!
    • Freeze coffee in an ice cube tray. Use coffee ice cubes instead of regular ice cubes. This will prevent your coffee from tasting watered down as the ice cubes melt.
    • Refrigerate a carafe of coffee. This is a great way to always have cold coffee ready to use whenever you need it.

    Instructions

This recipe is a perfect keto Starbucks iced coffee copycat that you can make at home. It's so easy! Here's how to do just that.

    Brew the coffee

Brew your preferred coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. For a little extra fun, make flavored coffee!

    Pour over ice

Fill two glasses up with ice cubes. Then, pour the coffee evenly into the two glasses.

    Add whipping cream

Add half of the whipping cream to each of the glasses.

    adding heavy whipping cream.

    Flavor with sugar-free syrup

Place some flavored syrup of your choice into each glass. I used sugar-free vanilla syrup.

Stir and serve. It really is that easy!

    ️ Serving suggestions

I like to drink my low-carb iced coffee as I head out the door or in the middle of the day when it's hot outside.

Vanilla iced coffee tastes amazing with a keto donut! It will feel like you just ordered food from your favorite coffee shop.

If you are in the mood for a healthy breakfast, then sip on this drink with a slice of keto crustless quiche.

It also tastes incredible with Instant Pot sous vide keto egg bites. They are portable and can go with you out the door!

    unstirred mixture in glasses.

    Variations

Change the syrup, and you can make it taste like your favorite grande iced coffee.

Top this keto coffee with sugar-free caramel syrup drizzle, and sprinkle some sugar-free chocolate chips on top.

Make a frozen coffee drink. Add this iced coffee to a blender with lots of ice, and then let it mix!

    FAQs

Is iced coffee the same thing as cold brew coffee?

No, they are different. Cold brew is coffee that is literally made without any heat. Iced coffee is coffee that was brewed over heat and then poured over ice.

    What is bulletproof coffee?

This is a way to make low-carb coffee that is high in healthy fats. People usually add unsalted butter and an MCT oil or powder to it.
Alternatively, some use ghee and coconut oil. Then, it is all blended together.
The result is a coffee that tastes like a keto-friendly latte. Here's my recipe!

How do you order keto iced coffee at a drive-through?

The best way to order a keto iced coffee at a coffee shop is to ask for unsweetened almond milk or heavy cream and sugar-free syrup.

What is the best liquid sweetener for iced coffee?

I didn't use a sugar-free sweetener in this drink because the sugar-free vanilla syrup made it taste sweet enough. There are a lot of different sugar-free syrups you can choose from.

What can I use instead of sugar-free syrup?

If you want a really creamy coffee, just use heavy cream and your favorite sweetener. The sweetener is optional. You can even just use coconut milk or coconut cream!
All of these options will make a keto-friendly coffee drink with amazing flavor.
