    Why you'll love it

Now that the weather has finally warmed up, it's great to come home from work and grab an ice-cold drink to enjoy out on the deck.

I rarely drink alcohol, but I do love fruity cocktail drinks. Unfortunately, regular ones are loaded with sugar.

Since I'm not much of a drinker, a mocktail is more my style. And, this is a beverage that I can share with the kids over the summer.

It's really quick and easy to whip up this fruity low carb drink. I just dumped a half cup of frozen raspberries, a half cup of crushed ice, the juice of one lime, and a can of Dasani Sparkling Raspberry Lemonade into my blender.

Usually, this is made with lime juice and sugar, but I used healthy ingredients that have the same flavor as the refreshing drinks you get when you are on a road trip.

    Ingredients

There are just a few easy ingredients in this refreshing beverage. In fact, you might be shocked at how easy it is to make a sparkling limeade.

ingredients for the sparkling raspberry limeade mocktail.

    Sparkling raspberry lemonade

Use your favorite type of pre-made sparkling raspberry lemonade. Just make sure you are careful with how much sugar it has.

    Fresh lime juice

It's best to squeeze fresh lime juice from a few tart limes. I only used about two tablespoons, which is the juice from one lime.

    Raspberries

Frozen raspberries will make this have the best consistency, but fresh raspberries can also be used.

    Vanilla sweetener

Sweeten your low-carb sparkling raspberry limeade with some vanilla Stevia drops.

    Ice

Of course, you will need ice in order for this to be a frozen consistency.

Please note: Check out the recipe card at the bottom for a full list of ingredients used to make this low-carb recipe.

    Tips

    • Strain the drink first. Use a fine-mesh strainer if you don't want raspberry seeds in your drink.
    • Use a high-powered blender. This will crush the ice better.
    • Use small ice cubes. You could use whole ice cubes, but my blender doesn't chop ice very well, so I like to use smaller pieces of ice.

    Instructions

It takes less than a minute to prepare this tasty low-carb sparkling raspberry limeade mocktail. And, the blender does most of the work. You will have to squeeze the juice out of the limes, but I have a handheld juicer that does it quickly.

Here's how to make this tasty raspberry limeade recipe!

    Blend the ingredients

Place all the ingredients in your blender and pulse until they are perfectly combined.

    Garnish and serve

Pour the drink into individual glasses. Don't forget to dress up the drinks a little with a few lime wedges and extra berries! The added fruit pieces make this low-carb sparkling raspberry limeade mocktail look extra special.

    ️ Serving suggestions

This low-carb sparkling raspberry limeade mocktail is a fun drink to whip up when getting together with friends. It's also a treat that can be shared with the kids since there's no alcohol.

It's a much healthier alternative to soda!

If you want to eat something salty with this sweet drink, make a keto soft pretzel. They're also a fun thing to serve at parties with your friends.

Celebrate happy hour and serve in individual cups. Then serve this drink with some no-bake keto key lime cheesecake along with it. Or, have fun with the raspberry flavors and serve this mocktail with some raspberry cheesecake ice cream!

    Variations

There are a few different ways you can make this sparkling limeade. First, you can make it a sparkling lemonade. Just use fresh-squeeze lemon juice instead of lime juice.

You could also use unflavored sparkling water and add a bit more raspberry puree.

There are also different flavors of soda that you can use instead of the Dasani. For example, you could use strawberry sparkling water and make a strawberry limeade. Then, garnish it with some fresh strawberry slices!

    FAQs

Here are some questions people often ask about how to make this raspberry limeade. If you don't see the answer to your question in this list, please leave it in the comments.

How many carbs are in this sparkling drink?

Even with the fresh fruit, this delicious mocktail drink has less than 2 grams of sugar. So it's a perfect sweet treat to enjoy on your low-carb diet. And, the added fizz really seems to help satisfy thirst on a hot day.

How do you make sparkling limeade with alcohol?

Limeades are fun drinks because raspberries and lime go with so many different types of alcohol. I think some flavored vodka, plain vodka, or even gin would be the best options to add to this drink.

How do you make lime soda with sparkling water?

If you want to omit the raspberries, you can just make a sparkling lime soda. Simply add some fresh-squeezed lime juice, salt, and sparkling water. If you want it to be sweeter, add a little bit of liquid sweetener.

Is sparkling water good for weight loss?

Seltzer water has hydrating qualities that can help promote weight loss. It's also a fantastic way to avoid sugary sodas that might derail your weight loss goals.

You can press the raspberry pulp through a fine mesh sieve to pull out the seeds.

Great idea for (moc)ocktails but I will never use Dasani brand water (dangerous chemicals Magnesium Sulfate and Potassium Chloride in filtered tap water - specially dangerous for pregnant women & developing fetuses) or any water/product that only lists the ingredients as "natural" and refuses to say what they actually are. The word "natural" is not regulated and could be almost anything.

I will use your great idea with another product though!

I thought a lot of bottled water companies used reverse osmosis to get pure water and then add minerals if needed for taste.

How much like should I use if I’m making this for about 12 people? I should multiply the recipe by 6 but you don’t specify how much lime juice to begin with so it’s difficult. Appreciate the awesome recipe though!

You can use the serving adjuster. I corrected the lime juice amount. You'll want about 2 tablespoon which equivalent to that from a medium lime.
