These keto brownies are the perfect mix of chocolate and peanut butter. They're perfect for anyone that loves that popular flavor combination! Always a crowd-pleaser, my kids absolutely love it, especially my youngest.

The good news is, not only are they delicious, but this peanut butter brownie recipe is gluten-free AND sugar-free as well. They are actually pretty good for you - without sacrificing flavor!

So if you are craving the classic chocolatey dessert, these keto-friendly peanut butter brownies made with ChocZero chocolate chips should do just the trick.

    Ingredients

These brownies are very easy to make and do not require too many ingredients. If you bake keto recipes often, you probably already have almost all the items on hand.

    Almond Flour

Almond flour makes up the base of this recipe and acts as a flour substitute, making these brownies both low-carb and keto-friendly.

    Cocoa Powder

Unsweetened cocoa powder is the perfect way to achieve dark and rich brownies. This ingredient lends a touch of bitterness as well, which helps to balance out the other sweeter flavors.

    Salt

Salt is a small but crucial ingredient if you want a balanced flavor in your baked good. It has a magical ability to balance out flavors, complementing the sweetness of the dish.

So, don't forget to add it!

    Baking Powder

Baking powder is another important ingredient that is going to give the almond flour a hand. It acts as a leavener that will help these brownies be light and fudgy and not overly dense.

    Butter

Butter adds richness to this peanut butter brownie recipe and helps everything to come together as it should. The fat content helps the brownies to be crispy on the outside and fudgy on the inside.

    Eggs

Eggs help to give the brownies structure and lift and keeps them from becoming dense and dry. They are an important ingredient if you want them to be soft and fudgy.

    Sugar Substitute

You will want to use your favorite keto sugar substitute to sweeten these brownies. Depending on how much sweetness you want, you can always change up the measurements slightly.

Tip: Check out this guide on the best low-carb sweeteners to find the one that works best for you!

    Vanilla Extract

Vanilla extract really works well with peanut butter and chocolate in this recipe. It adds a bit of softness to the flavor profile and enhances the sweetness.

    Baking Chips

You can use your favorite keto friendly-baking chips in these low-carb brownies. I love ChocZero chips because they are sugar-free, high quality, and delicious!

Chocolate chips add extra chocolatey goodness to these brownies, while peanut butter chips bring that nutty flavor everyone loves. Both make this recipe richer, adding a bit of sweetness too.

With their flavors combined, these brownies will be extra decadent!

    Keto Peanut Butter

You will want to use your preferred brand of keto-friendly peanut butter for this recipe. Any keto brand will do and yield the same results.

    Xanthan Gum

Xanthan gum is an optional ingredient that you certainly do not have to use if you don't want to. If you do have it on hand, however, I would highly recommend using it. It helps a lot with the texture, creating a better end result.

Please note: Check out the recipe card at the bottom for a full list of ingredients used to make this low-carb recipe.

    Instructions

These keto peanut butter brownies are a very quick and easy dessert to whip up in a pinch. For the full list of instructions, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of the page. First, here is a quick overview of the process.

    Combine Ingredients

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F and start making your brownie batter.

Combine all of the ingredients together until everything is just combined. Try not to overmix, or the brownies won't have as nice of a texture.

    making the brownie batter

    Prepare Peanut Butter Brownie Mix

Set aside about ⅓ of a cup of brownie batter, and mix in the peanut butter and chocolate chips into the remaining batter. Pour the remaining batter into your baking dish. Spread the batter out evenly.

Next, add dollops of the remaining batter on top with peanut butter and swirl them together with a knife, creating a marbled pattern. Add extra baking chips on top if you'd like.

    Bake The Brownies

Bake your peanut butter brownies for 20 to 25 minutes until you are happy with how they are cooked.

Allow to cool down for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting into squares.

    ️ Serving suggestions

These peanut butter brownies are rich and flavorful- the perfect twist on traditional brownies. They are also perfect for peanut butter and chocolate lovers alike and are surely decadent enough on their own.

However, if you'd like to pair it with something, here are a few ideas!

A classic addition to any brownie is a scoop of ice cream, so try this keto vanilla ice cream recipe. Or, you could buy a keto-friendly variety in stores. If you're an absolute peanut butter fanatic, top the brownie with sugar-free whipped cream and pour on some low-carb peanut butter sauce.

One of these brownies would go amazing with a coffee milkshake or chocolate milkshake if you're feeling daring.

Really, you can serve this brownie with whatever you'd like!

    FAQs

Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about keto peanut butter brownies.

How long will peanut butter brownies last?

The brownies can keep fresh for up to a week or a week and a half when you store them in a container that is airtight. If you keep that container of brownies in the fridge, they can even last up to two weeks.

What can I do if I don't have peanut butter chips?

If you don't have peanut butter chips, you can just add a bit more peanut butter to maintain the flavor.

It is better with the chips, but they will still taste amazing without them!

Those are peanut butter chips made by ChocZero. They use their white chocolate as a base so it does tend to be a bit light.
