As an Instant Pot devotee, I was surprised that the recipe, though I loved it, did not specify more liquid than 1/2 cup of white wine. To pressure cook I added 1/2 pkg onion soup mix to 1-1/2 cups of water.

I made this for dinner. Used the gravy for the egg noodles. I cooked it for 20 minutes but my pork chops were very thick 11.5 ounces a piece.

I purchased 4, about 6 oz chops and they were not thin. I made these in my Emeril Lagasse multi cooker, on the pressure setting. I cooked for 20 minutes as directed. They were perfectly done. I did not use tapioca as my thickening agent. I used glucomannan instead. It worked perfectly. Delicious, I will be making this again!

The recipe instructions come right from Karen Lee's cookbook. Personally, I would cook them for half the time or less if using high pressure.

All the other recipes I'm looking at say 7-10 minutes. I'm worried about over cooking the beautiful chops I just bought.

The recipe was made with thin cut.

You had me at "smothered." These look so good! Can't wait to use my IP for these.

I would think the pork would end up being more tender slow cooked.

I used Arrowroot. It worked well.
