We have issues with coconut.

These were created to use as a snack with egg fasting so the ingredients are limited. You can add in some flavored collagen or powdered sweetener and extract if needed to lessen the oil and up the flavor.

I didn’t care for these at all. There wasn’t much flavor and it was just mildly flavored oil. In high hope, I made a double batch, but couldn’t even eat one, and am tossing them all.

It's just to have some added fat on keto to meet optimal daily macros.

Same here. I'm going to try some flavor extracts next time. I'm hoping this recipe will work well as a base.

There was no vanilla flavoring, it just tasted Like Cocoa butter. I used the exact ingredients in the recipe. I do think this would be good a good base for other flavorings. If anyone has used this with other flavors I'd like to know the flavor and sweetener you used.

I tried different flavours in a mold meant for my instant pot, I put a few drops of flavour in the bottom, then mixed them. Apparently food colouring doesn’t mix well with oil, lol! I did that so I could tell them apart easier. 😉 I also skipped any sweetener.

I tried sugarless maple syrup, rose water, orange extract, lemon juice, peppermint extract, matcha powder, and a flavoured matcha. Most of the flavours separated out, but they were still faintly flavoured, except the rose one, that one mixed quite well, and the mint. That was almost overpowering.

I've found that using the powdered extracts with a little vanilla extract actually works better. Liquid sweeteners don't mix in as well as the powdered ones.
