Looking through all my low carb recipes, I noticed that I don't have a lot of seafood recipes. Well, I certainly need to change that because I love to eat fish and shellfish.

Growing up near the shores of Connecticut along the Long Island Sound, I have access to some of the best local seafood. In fact, the seafood is one of the things tourists love most about our area.

In the summer, there's always deals on fresh Maine lobsters which are native to our area. And, my husband and I always feast on lobsters when the prices are low.

So, I thought I'd share a great cauliflower sheet pan pizza recipe for seafood lovers. Sure, you can change the toppings if you aren't into fish and shellfish, but I think it's a great way to top off pizza.

Cauliflower crust is a favorite of mine as I find it's a great way to sneak in one of the best keto vegetables. Sure, you can use a fat head pizza dough if you prefer, but I'd rather use a vegetable based crust.

I don't cook a lot of fish at home because my husband doesn't like the smell. But, I like to order it when I go out to eat. And, we have some of the best seafood restaurants in our area.

Most people don't think of fish (other than anchovies) as your typical pizza topping. But, adding it in with some shrimp and scallops is a delicious way to top off a simple low carb sheet pan pizza.

And, seafood is a great change from beef, chicken, and bacon. I mean you could add in some bacon pieces if you want. I'll admit that bacon does tend to make everything taste better.

However, you definitely want to stick with the seafood if it's a Friday during Lent. Growing up in a large catholic family, we ate lots of fish on those days and my mother would always make sure we knew not to eat any meat other than seafood.

I wasn't much of a fish eater back then either. Shellfish like lobsters, clams, and scallops were what I preferred to eat. But, these days, I like fish a lot more.

You'd never know that by the recipes on this site, though. That's why I'm hoping to do more fish dishes in future. And, adding in some fish to this seafood sheet pan pizza was a fantastic idea.

Shrimp cocktail is a popular appetizer during the holidays and we always celebrate the New Year with a seafood dish. Usually, it's something with lobster or shrimp.

However, I'm also big on scallops and I love serving baked sea scallops as a main dish or appetizer. And, lobster bisque is my favorite soup of all time.

I feel bad for the people who are allergic to shellfish. They are really missing out. Thankfully, I have no food allergies and can eat pretty much anything.

It's just the unhealthy stuff like refined sugar, excess carbs, and grains that I avoid these days. But, I've never had any issues with them in the past other than the excess weight and inflammation from eating them.

Are you a seafood lover? If not, how would you top off this low carb pizza?
