In reply to Sherry.

These were delicious. I didn’t make the cream filling because I had some failed keto divinity that didn’t firm up. Used that instead. Think I prefer that over the cream cheese filling…might try it next time to see which I like best though.

These are absolutely the BEST! No egg or cheese taste; easy to make. I got 6 chaffles out of the recipe so 3 large oreo "cookies". Refrigerates great. Next time I'm going to add some peppermint extract to the filling. Highly recommend!!

Very good and rich. Plan on sharing it some friends. Could not eat a whole one. My house still smelled like chocolate for 3 hours after making them.

Made this for the first time & it was delish! Turned out just like the recipe said. The filling was not solid, but it stayed on the Chaffee. Will make it again.

I made these tonight for my fiancé and I. We were not fond of them at all. The Chaffle was cheesy and the combination of cheese and egg with frosting and chocolate was not something I'd consider eating again. I didn't blend the chaffle mixture but it said you could mix with whisk. Maybe that's why it was cheesy? Not sure but now I have dark cocoa I'll probably never use again. Hadn't even heard of it until I found this recipe.

I'm thinking of trying this like making little pancakes in a frying pan. maybe a tablespoon of chaffle mixture for each cookie side? Do you think it will work? Or will I be making a mess?

Made these for breakfast this morning as a special Christmas treat. They are fun and taste great. This is the first time I’ve ever blended chaffle batter, and I think in the future I will do that with all my chaffle recipes. I also had trouble with the frosting not thickening up enough, but I’ve read your answer to another comment and will add that to my copy of the recipe so I can try that next time. This is very definitely a keeper recipe!

You could use 1 ounce more of cream cheese and 1 tablespoon less of heavy cream to thicken it up. But it should be similar in consistency to frosting.

The filling didnt quite thicken up as your looks to be. It wasn't necessarily runny but unable to duplicate the thickness of the cream filling, I did chill prior hoping the cream cheese would harden up some. Any advice? Thanks =)
